Q:If the devil only punishes bad people.... Wouldnt that make him good?
I think that if the devil had the authority to PUNISH then that would infer that he would also have the authority to ENCOURAGE, but i am not really sure he does have the authority to do either. I think only God has that authority, and I believe that God does not punish, but he does encourage. I believe God does not need to punish, as he lets what we do have its own reward, if its good stuff it will be rewarded with love, and if its bad stuff it will be rewarded with pain and sadness. However I also believe that God encourages us do do the good, by believing that we are good, I believe that God sees the world as GOOD, that everyone is OK, and that in believing that in us we will be encouraged to be good, and accept everyone else as ok, that there are no rules or standards, just him accepting us as OK however we are. I believe the badness that happens in the world is a direct result of the opposite of that OK-ness, where people dont accept, but they judge, judgment is the reason we have wars and famines and crimes and ABUSE. and i also believe that that God wants US to help those that dont feel they are accepted and have to abuse, to ENCOURAGE the acceptance and love. if they wont change, then I wont judge them i will simply turn from them and i will protect the abused. - I dont know you caught something here anon, and seemed to have gone off on one!! sorry!!! - you are OK!!
I encourage you all to listen this, I love witnessing creativity happen so close! I have the uttermost respect for anyone who can write, and to write a book - well I am simply in awe!!
The author here is a beautiful man, and an incredibly talented writer. I am no intelectual, and fear that i could not say good enough things about his writing, but I will say that he has me hooked! I love his style and his flow, I love how he describes people, and I love the characters he gives us. I simply want MORE.
If you like a good rad, and you like intelligent, quirky, funny, deep reading, then you will love this as I do.
Audio reading - The Sigh and Tender Divine (opening three chapters)
— Imagine a world where on meeting someone for the first time it was customary to reveal a little something of yourself; a glance behind the veil’s veil to what is hidden, and to receive a little of the same in return. I know it was unkind, and I remember having many internal struggles with myself as to why I did this, but when I was younger I just loved to make people feel paranoid —
